Nova Scotian artist Jenn Grant wants the youth of Canada to Get a Life by volunteering with Katimavik!

Jenn Grant, Share, and Kim Wempe put on a stellar show last night! There were approximately 90 Katimavik volunteers in attendance and the general public!

L'artiste Jenn Grant de la Nouvelle-Écosse veut que la jeunesse du Canada dégage avec Katimavik!

Jenn Grant, Share et Kim Wempe ont monté un spectacle stellaire la nuit dernière! 90 volontaires de Katimavik ont assisté au spectacle, en plus du grand public!

Katimavik Rocks!

Kim Wempe outlines her motivation as a performer at Katimavik Rocks! by stating that "this is a cause that should sit close to people’s hearts because of the basic fact that there isn't anyone who can say they don't know someone who has or has had cancer. Every day, more and more, you hear about someone else you know battling cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society needs help so we can all fight this. Katimavik is an amazing organization that is taking it into their own hands to support the cause and I'm excited they've asked me to be part of it. We're going to have a lot of fun!"

Exprimant son engagement comme artiste, Kim Wempe déclare : « Voilà une cause qui devrait interpeler un vaste public, car absolument tout le monde connaît quelqu’un qui a souffert ou est décédé du cancer. Tous les jours et de plus en plus, nous entendons parler de gens qui luttent contre le cancer. La société canadienne du cancer a grand besoin de notre aide pour soutenir ce combat. Katimavik est un organisme formidable qui a pris l’initiative de venir en aide et je suis ravie d’avoir été invitée à participer. Ça promet d’être tout un spectacle! »
